Purpose of Open Health Atlas

Open Health Atlas is a free, open-source application for organising personal records and exploring patterns in training, sleep, mood, nutrition and other everyday health information.

It is intended for personal information and general wellness exploration, not for diagnosing, preventing, monitoring or treating disease or injury, or making clinical decisions.

Medical information

Open Health Atlas is not a healthcare service and does not replace advice from a qualified healthcare professional. Do not change medication or treatment, or delay seeking professional care, based on its outputs.

It is not an emergency service. In an emergency, contact your local emergency services.

Understanding the results

Calculations, estimates and patterns depend on the records available and the methods used. Missing information, recording errors and assumptions can affect the results. An association between records does not establish a cause.

The software is under development. Check important results against their original sources and keep backups of your records.

Optional AI connections

If you connect an external AI assistant, that service provides its own interpretations. These may be incorrect, incomplete or misleading, even when they refer to recorded evidence.

External services have their own terms, privacy practices and possible charges. See the Privacy page for how connecting an AI service can affect where your records are processed.

Licence and warranty

Open Health Atlas is distributed under the GNU Affero General Public License, version 3 only. The licence includes warranty and liability limitations, subject to applicable law. Third-party components retain their own licences.

This page does not change the software licence or exclude any rights or liability that cannot lawfully be excluded. Read the project’s licensing information for the full terms.
